Darebaba.net – BEST FEMALE ARTISTE IN CENTRAL AFRICA NOMINEES REVIEW

BUSSINE MBADINGA (GABON)

Born in Gabon, a French speaking country in central Africa. The 25 year old Pastor’s daughter showed early signs of following in her mother’s gospel singing footsteps.

Since her childhood days, she had been very passionate about singing. Taking the lead in many church choirs and appearing in her Mum’s music videos, which all contributed over time for her being a magnificent vocalist and a very creative songwriter.

In the year 2010, Bussine Mbadinga moved to South Africa, the land of her personal icon and hero, Nelson Mandela in order to benefit from the rich cultural diversity whilst pursuing a professional career as a singer.

She went on to win many singing contests, including “The Wow Factor”, hosted by veteran music producer, Richard Loring. It was at the event, where she met one of the final judges, a producer and composer, Gabi Le Roux.

The contest was to offer the winner a recording contract. Bussine Mbadinga, having that in mind, sang her heart out and wrote a new chapter in the story of her life by winning “The Wow Factor” contest.

In January 2014, Bussine Mbadinga signed a well deserving recording contract, with Gabi Le Roux been the producer.

Over a period of one and a half years, Bussine Mbadinga worked tirelessly with producer Gabi Le Roux (who has produced music icons, such as Lebo Mathosa, Danny K, Brenda Cassie and many others), to complete a magnificent 12 track album titled “MusiQ”.

Each track on the mixed English and French master piece has its own character and story to tell, ranging from the heartfelt ballads “Hero”, “Mon Petit Entre” to dance floor hits, including the first single titled “Believe”, which was first unveiled by the artiste during a live performance on SABC 2, Hectic Nine-9 show for Africa, “All Afrikan Party” and “Je Parle d’Amour to the silky smooth R&B song, “Tu Me Fails Voler”.

Gabonese Bussine Mbadinga who grew from a Church singing chorister to an international music celebrity, is contesting for the “Best Female Artiste in Central Africa” at the 2016 Kora All Africa Music Award. What are her chances in this category let’s have your comments Africa.
