Please note: Although we try our best to be fair and cut across all genres, class of artistes from A-list to upcoming, we cannot possibly list every video for a shortlist of 10 videos, so feel free to drop your preferred list in the comment section and our panel would look into it and consider it for future lists. Also worthy to note, as part of our goal to support upcoming, hardworking artistes, at least a spot is reserved for an upcoming artiste each week.

Lagos To Kampala | Runtown ft. Wizkid (New Entry)

Nigerian Afrobeats artiste Runtown presents the official music video for his song “Lagos to Kampala” ft. Wizkid. Produced by Maleek Berry. With over 715,984 since it’s release online on 29 Mar 2016, this video enters the Top Ten Naija Music Video charts this week.

Runtown (born Douglas Jack Agu) is a Nigerian singer/songwriter/producer with a diverse music style mixing Hip-Hop, RnB, Reggae and Rap. Runtown signed to Eric Many Entertainment in 2014 after successful singles and collaborations with Laza Morgan (High On You), Phyno (Anam-Achi Vers-Achi) and Davido (Gallardo). He acquires his musical inspiration from artistes like Sean Kingston, Bob Marley, Kanye West, to name a few.

Despite gaining over 150,000 additional views since Top Ten Naija Music Videos online’s debut, this masterpiece from the King of Streetz Music, Olamide has dropped over 8 spots.

Baddoo, the musically confidence of coughing out hits after hits like he just goes under his pillow to pick up ideas and lyrics releases this video.

Just a week after dropping the single to mark his adding another year to his age, king of the street, Olamide, drops the official visual to the hitmaker “Abule Sowo”.

Taking it back to the roots with costume, location and not forgetting to mention the song in itself, this is just another dope creation from Olamide.

Flavour remains unshaken on our list, and although improved in Views, shares and YouTube stats, it is currently finding it hard to knock Olamide and Tiwa Savage off the charts. Good news though, it has not fallen off the wagon as it holds on to its No 3 spot.

The video which features Oritse Femi and 9ice who rendered their usual charismatic tune to the track only has 24,492 views despite being released over a month ago.
