Actress Yetunde Bakare calls out producers who bashed her for asking for professional fee
Yetunde Bakare, recently took to social media via her Instagram page to lament about some of the issues film stars faced in the movie industry.
According to her, people in her industry would rather count years than count money.
She also said that the industry is one such that people who go from movie location to movie location are tagged as successful even though they weren’t paid well.
Bakare continued that people in the industry saw charging as an insult as some producers usually said that even older colleagues could not charge such amount.
Celebrities are not activists – TV personality Latasha Nwugbe says The actress finalised her post by saying that she did not want cheap fame or fame with an empty account because she did not have a godfather to help her out.

An industry where people who go to location back to back are tagged as being successful for how much exactly! An industry where they see charging as an insult! You’ll hear ‘ is it not that girl of yesterday? Even her seniors can’t ask me for money ?Oh really Please I don’t want a cheap fame, a fame with empty account, I don’t have a god father and I can’t twale anybody!
I hear y’all saying she’s always commenting all over seems she’s jobless Lower your expectations, celebrities are not super humans.
Mary Remmy Njoku, took to her Twitter page to tell fans to lower the expectations they had from celebrities.
According to her, they are not superhumans and stardom could not remove the natural stupidity in some humans.
