Afro-Heritage Broadcasting and Entertainment Awards (AHBEA) held the 3rd edition of its annual prestigious African Media and Entertainment awards this year on the 21st of October 2017, at the Ayva Center, Richmond Avenue, Houston, Texas, the USA to the delight of all guests and recipients present at the event.
This years event was anchored by top African Ace comedian from Nigeria, Gbenga Adeyinka D 1st (Gcon) and Africa’s delectable actress from Ghana, Ella Mensah.
Awardees at the event this year were, Tade Ogidan (Nig), Prince Bisi Olatilo ( Nig), Ruth Maingi (Kenya), Ayo Mogaji (Nig), Rykardo Agbor (Nig), Raymond Ofula (Kenya), Juliet Ibrahim (Ghana) Rasaq Ajao (Nig – US), Remmy Shitta-Bey (Nig), Regina Askia Williams ( Nig – US)Sir Shina Peters (Nig) and Muyiwa Ademola (Nig), Chief Chika Okpala aka Zebrudaya (Nig)Mr Seyi Shodimu (Nig – US) Dineo Mofammere  (SA) among others.
 Many African stars and celebrity entertainers graced the event. Amongst them were Regina Chukwu, Aisha Lawal, Oyita, Age Anthony, Mistura Asunramu Alao, Kemi Korede, Bose Akinola, Tawa Ajisefini, Lateef Adedimeji, Bimbo Thomas, Antar Laniyan, Oluwakemi Otegbade (CEO, Heartlink Ventures LTD), Bukola Fagbuyi, Mr and Mrs Kogberegbe, Jemiriye, John Olakunle Dasilva, Biola Adebayo, Nike Peller, Kayode Adebayo, Yinka Quadri, Muka Ray Eyiwumi, Seyi Edun, Adeniyi Johnson, Tope Solaja, Bayo Bankole, Amarachi Igwe, Yinka Rythmz, Lola Faduri, Bimbo Ogunnowo and Tope Bali among others.
Guest entertainers at this years 2017 edition were Fadojoe, Morientez, Houston based Yoruba traditional dancers group, Scott Jaco, Codeman, Mc Promise, Mc Agali, KT Blingtz twin brothers, Yinka Rythmz, Young Master Babalola and others, while Africa’s music star from Nigeria Adekunle Gold was the  star performer at the event.
Speaking with Naija Online TV recently, Ahbeawards Project Co-ordinator Nigerian iconic filmmaker and actor expresses his profound joy for the success of AHBEAwards 2017 which he laid at the feet of all recipients for their unquenchable love and support for the event pre-pro and post.
