The Norwegian, who is scheduled to return to Molde FK in May, asked his players “to be the kids that love to play football” and they have duly delivered.
Solskjaer became the only United manager to win eight consecutive away games in all competitions after their recent 3-1 win over Crystal Palace, with a brace from Romelu Lukaku and a late strike from Ashley Young sealing all three points.
It was a result that means the club have picked up 29 points in 11 Premier League games, scoring 26 goals and conceding just seven – a record that says everything you need to know about this man’s phenomenal transformation of the club.
Solskjaer can be very pleased with his start. Following another victory, it now looks increasingly likely that club will reward his efforts with a permanent position after it was revealed that no other current manager or coach has been approached to discuss the position.
ESPN reports that Solskjaer is the only serious candidate for the full-time job.
The report also indicates that the 46-year-old has moved ahead of Mauricio Pochettino and Massimiliano Allegri in the pecking order – two individuals who have yet to be approached about the position.
Solskjaer has picked up more points from his first 10 games than any other manager in Premier League history after their 0-0 draw against Liverpool last week, so surely he deserves the job, right?
In recent months he’s managed to get the best out of a number of players, including Paul Pogba. who was previously criticised for his attitude and application under former boss Jose Mourinho.
And let’s not forget about the form of Marcus Rashford and Jesse Lingard, two players who encapsulate the club’s philosophy of nurturing homegrown talent.

Apart from the fact that the people elected their choice leader as a president, reality still shows that the economy has to improve rapidly and
Some Nigerians are already expecting a miracle in the nearest future.
According to This Day Newspaper report, many Nigerians said they expect the president to pay greater attention to reset the economy.
More worrisome is the fact that Nigeria’s population growth rate of about 2.7 per cent has completely overtaken economic growth, which has dire consequences on standard of living and allocation of resources in the country.
In fact, the president has to be worried that GDP per capita, i.e. the average income per person for a country that is the largest economy in Africa, in 2018 was estimated at about $2,050 whereas that for South Africa is about $7,500.
Another matter that should worry Buhari in his second term, they say, is the rising unemployment rate in the country as well as rising incidence of poverty in Nigeria.
This would be a great achievement for the government in the next four years if they can steer the ship with Nigerians on board to a steady course.

The Confederation of Africa Football has moved Super Eagles dead rubber AFCON 2019 qualifier against Seychelles from March 23, 2019 to March 22, 2019 in Asaba, Delta State, Bsnsports understands.
The shift was believed to ensure the Gernot Rohr lads loosen up before their international friendly match against Egypt on March 26.
Meanwhile, the team’s Head Coach has stated that the coaching crew and the Technical Department of the Nigeria Football Federation will only invite the fittest and in form players for the games between Nigeria and Seychelles and Egypt in March in Asaba, the Delta State capital.
Rohr insisted that the best crop of players would be invited.
He said: “We will invite the fittest players in the next games against Seychelles and Egypt and the best ones will play.
“We will base our invite on what they are doing with their clubs and we know what they did with us and we are not forgetting it.”

The Premier League title race looks to be a duel between Liverpool and Manchester City after the top two collected contrasting home wins on Wednesday and third place Tottenham lost at Chelsea for a second defeat in five days. _(Source: AP)_
Just when questions were starting to be asked about Liverpool’s credentials, the leaders delivered their biggest victory of the season: A 5-0 thrashing of Watford at Anfield.
That’s the kind of scoreline City has been producing in recent weeks but, after needing extra time and penalties to win the English League Cup on Sunday, Pep Guardiola said he’d be happy with any kind of win against West Ham three days later.
A second-half penalty from Sergio Aguero secured a 1-0 win for City, which stayed a point back in second place.
Tottenham’s title bid is likely over, though, with 10 games remaining. And it disintegrated in quite embarrassing fashion at Stamford Bridge, with Kieran Trippier’s own goal following a mix-up with goalkeeper Hugo Lloris clinching a 2-0 win for Chelsea.
With Tottenham having also lost at Burnley on Saturday, the team is now nine points off the lead and only four ahead of Arsenal, which beat Bournemouth 5-1 to strengthen its grip on fourth place.
Tottenham and Arsenal meet in the north London derby on Saturday at Spurs’ temporary home of Wembley Stadium.
The EPL with all its excitements never fails to deliver when it comes to entertainment, drama and superb sports action.
The end yet again, would be frantic and nervy for the teams especially the log leaders to battle for the trophy and the others battling for a top 4 spot for champions league football next season.
No doubts that it has been a major turn around in good fortune for some clubs and vice-versa to others, there is still a lot to be played for atleast May isn’t here yet.

The just concluded elections which has led to the reelection for a second term; President Muhammad Buhari, leaves some Nigerians worried for various reasons and others elated for fundamental reasons known best to the people of Nigeria.
As gathered by “pulse TV” , “Respondents who spoke with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Owerri said the results showed the readiness of Nigerians for better leadership.
Following the victory of President Muhammadu Buhari at the just concluded presidential elections, some Imo residents have expressed satisfaction with the outcome of the elections.
Respondents who spoke with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Owerri said the results showed the readiness of Nigerians for better leadership.
Chinedu Ibenegbu, a member of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in Imo, commended Nigerians for voting President Buhari, while urging him to perfect his fight against corruption.
Similarly, Ikechi Anyanwu, a resident of Owerri, said Nigerians had chosen the “better man” for the position, he urged the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), to accept the results and support the president in his efforts to improve the country.
Chinedu Durueke, another resident of Owerri, also urged Nigerians to continue to support the president, adding that his re-election would ensure his “good works” are uninterrupted.
However, some respondents described the election results as “manipulated” and called for the elections to be cancelled.
Tony Iwuchukwu, a teacher, alleged that the elections were surrounded by irregularities, and should be cancelled.
Iwuchukwu called for an investigation of the claims of electoral malpractice in different parts of the country, to ensure the right thing is done.
He added that the areas that were declared inconclusive or scheduled for re-run should be concluded before declaring a winner.
Mrs Chinwe Uzo, claimed that the candidate of the PDP, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, had been shortchanged, alleging that the results emanating from the South-East had been reduced.
She called for a re-run of the elections and urged the Independent National Electoral Commission, to ensure that it is free and fair for all parties involved”.
A re-run doesn’t seem feasible anymore, Nigerians should support the mandate and only help for a better future, this can’t be done without a collaborative effort amongst the Nigerian people to first and foremost realise that they have a duty as democrats to support the government in their best interests and in turn hope that the outcome of the elections yield positive results subsequently and eventually.
