Controversial Ghanaian Pastor, Bishop Obinim Arrested By Police
Bishop Daniel Obinim, Ghanaian controversial cleric and founder of International Godsway Church, has been reportedly arrested by the Ghanaian police.
According to local reports, Obinim has been on the wanted list of the police for a while now but has been trying to evade arrest.
He was reportedly arrested in his church on Thursday May 14, after the police received information that he was having a counseling session at the church.
It was gathered that after inspecting the arrest warrant, he told the police he needed a moment to change his cloth before leaving for the police station.
Bishop Obinim later emerged from his room only to tell the police he is terribly sick and can’t go with them to the police station. In fact, within that short period, the controversial pastor couldn’t even walk.
The police would go on to effect his arrest, and took him to a private hospital in East Legon, and placed policemen by his side.
