COVID-19 task force makes recommendations on schools, worship centres
The Presidential Task Force on COVID-19 (PTF) has said it has made recommendations to President Muhammadu Buhari on whether schools and religious houses should be reopened or not.
The chairman of the task force, Boss Mustapha, made the disclosure on Sunday, May 31, shortly after a meeting with the president. SGF Boss Mustapha said the president will make a final decision on the issue.
Mustapha however, did not disclose the recommendations made, but pointed out that only the president could make a final decision on such matters.

Meanwhile, the authorities of Abia state on Saturday, May 30, confirmed the return of Emmanuel Ononiwu, a COVID-19 patient, who escaped from an isolation facility recently.
Ononiwu had been declared wanted by the state but on Saturday, May 30, the information commissioner; Chief John Okiyi-Kalu, confirmed that he had returned for treatment.
The Nation quoted Okiyi-Kalu as saying that Ononiwu had returned and is being placed on medical custody at an isolation centre in Amachara, Umuahia. Ononiwu, it was confirmed, reappeared at the Infectious Disease Hospital (IDH), Aba, with his wife and family members at exactly 8.05 am Saturday, May 30.
