Her full name is Daphne Njie Efundem, She was born in Bakweri/Bayangi in Buea,Cameroon in September, 1989. She grew up in Douala and presently live in Buea. She did her primary education at a government school in Bepanda, Douala and had her secondary school studies at the Queen of the Rosary College in Okoyong/Mamfe and later at Inter Comprehensive High School in Buea. She studied Law and Psychology at the University of Buea and started singing as a kid. She is still a vital member of her church choir.
She once worked with Prince Mykel Enobi of No Hits No Records (NHNR) who introduced her to Steven’s Music Entertainment management team. They were confirmed to have loved her voice texture and signed her straightaway. Her song “Rastafari” is about life and its up and down. Its about belief and keeping with faith.
Daphne apart from being a singer is also a songwriter. She loves to eat the Cameroonian food dish “Fufu” and “Eru” any day, any time.
