I HOPE TO BECOME A COACH, AFTER RETIREMENT - OSAZE ODEMWENGIE

Nigerian international footballer, Peter Osaze Odemwengie during a recent live online interview, on “Extra Time With……..” series of Team Nigeria UK, hosted by its CEO Mr. David Doherty, revealed that would love to be an agent, or probably a manager after his retirement.

Odemwengie said he looks forward to be a coach, so as to be able to train and impact younger ones, with his key success points and ideas.

During the interview, Osaze Odemwengie was keenly optimistic, speaking on his passion and how he developed in the game. Odemwengie spoke on how he got to play for Nigerian local league side, Insurance of Benin coupled with the influence of his father, who was the team’s medical doctor at a time.

The striker revealed on how he used to kit up, in full sport wear from jersey down to the boots, running the whole house to watch and support the Nigerian Eagles team, while he was at the age of sixteen.

While growing up in the Super Eagles team, Odemwengie revealed his motivators to be Julius Aghahowa and Sunday Oliseh to name a few. Odemwengie’s advice to the young ones, is to not be scared, never give up and should be the best they can be, he said during the interview.
