Kemi Popoola Appointed, Acting National Chairperson, Nigeria Eagles Supporters Club
Erstwhile National Secretary, Nigeria Eagles Supporters Club, Kemi Ogunfuwa Popoola has been elevated to to the acting National Chairperson of Nigeria Eagles Supporters Club,
Reacting to the appointment through the Media Officer of the Nigeria Eagles Supporters Club, Sunday Agunbiade, Kemi appreciated the Board of Trustee of the NESC and members for considering her for such an elated position.
In her words, she said “dear esteemed Members, It gives me a great joy, honour and above all humility to inform you that I have been appointed as the *Acting National Chairperson* of our great club, “Nigeria Eagles Supporters Club”
This appointment was announced during the Board of trustees meeting held in Abuja on the 5th of April, 2019. She said she was grateful and thankful for their support and opportunity given her to serve them in the last 23 years.
“You stood by this great group through thick and thin and we are not unmindful of your Unquantifiable sacrifices”
Kemi added “Consequent upon this development, I have officially handed over to Pastor James Oluwakorede as the Acting Secretary General of our great Club.
We shall together do our possible best to portray the image of the club in good light and most especially to give proper account of all our financial activities”
“I will also like to add that our doors are open and ears are waiting to welcome your lofty ideas. Nigeria Eagles Supporters Club is poised to steer the club forward and therefore we shall leave no stone unturned to achieve yearning and aspirations of our great club”
“It’s also good to note that our great club has a zero tolerance to Intimidation, threats, or fights, thus unfriendly atmosphere shall not be condoned from any member.
We rather preach Peace, Unity, Team Spirit and Love amongst members. The Sky is big enough to accommodate us all. Let us TRULY be our brother’s keeper”
