Men Are Created To Have Foresight – Kemi Tomide-Johnson
Men are created to have foresight. Especially when they are nurtured to be committed to the family’s values and progress. Often, they see first what we women can’t see.
It is part of their protective nature. They can genuinely put 1+1 together to arrive at an unusual answer. It is easier for them to foresee danger because their judgement are not often clouded by emotion as in the case of women.
It is therefore wise for us women to throw in caution at times when we want something so desperarely but our husband said NO! Even at times that we expect them to support our initiative or decision.
As natural hunters, most men can smell danger even before they are in sight.
I know it may be somewhat difficult to accept their position, especially when we are told ‘you can’t do that’ or ‘you can’t have that’ by the person we think should be our encourager and supporter – of a thing we are really passionate about.
As women, it’s ideal to try to make them reason and sometimes throw tantrums to make them bulge and grant us their support. However, if they persist, it maybe better to step back and not allow things to escalate into argument or resentment that might rub on our children.
It is only wise to leave to fight another day.
If he say No ‘within reason’, learn to accept his NO with dignity. You should always remember that your interest should be his interest and his interest should be your interest too.
That’s what makes the family function. Respect is evidence of love, and by that, I mean mutual respect.
Open rebellion is not an easy thing to forgive especially if it comes with consequences that may bring about negative consequences for the family. It is wise to be foolish at little things in order to have our wisdom celebrated in big things.
It is worth noting: Women are insightful. And this gift ought to be tapped and utilised by every family. If a woman warns you about a relationship, business deals/transactions, kindly yield, many atimes they are expressing God’s mind.
The state of women’s nature often opens them up for spiritual reception. And if you as a man use your foresight (the physical eyes) and your wife uses her insight (the spiritual eyes) to see and guide the family – imagine how far both of you can see.
How much you can harvest in blessings and how well you can avert dangers.
Men and women are created to operate as one.
When we SEE to work together, our limits will become indefinable.
