The Senior Pastor and founder of Commonwealth of Zion Assembly (COZA), Biodun Fatoyinbo, has reacted to the court summon filed by Busola Dakolo, wife of soul singer, Timi Dakolo, over allegations that he raped her.
An Abuja High Court had, on Monday, September, 9, had summoned Fatoyinbo and the ace photographer to appear before it within 14 days.
In the suit filed on her behalf by her lawyer, Pelumi Olajengbesi and Co of Law Corridor, Busola had told the court that the alleged rape had adversely affected her marital sex life and told Pastor to show remorse by tendering a letter of apology.
She also demanded that the man of God should tender an apology on two national newspapers and national television station for seven days consecutively as well as pay her N10 million for the total cost of demands in relation to the suit.
However, responding to the court summon and the insistence of Busola that he defiled her, Pastor Fatoyinbo said he had not received any court document.
He then urged Busola to stop lying over the alleged rape allegation against him as nothing of the sort ever happened.
Taking to his Instagram page, Pastor Fatoyinbo wrote:
“We have heard the latest report. We have not received any court document and if we do, we would respond accordingly because we have utmost respect for the law
I normally would not respond to news. But will do so ONLY THIS TIME. Allow me to respond in Pidgin English… ‘stop lying up an dan.’
