Paul Pogba and agent considering new deal at old Trafford
Paul Pogba was linked with a move to Real Madrid and Juventus during the summer, but Manchester United refused to allow the France international leave the club.
The Red Devils have also made contact with his agent Raiola for a contract renewal Premier League side Manchester United have reportedly made contact with Paul Pogba’s agent Mino Raiola over the possibility of the Frenchman signing a new deal.
Before the start of the 2019/20 Premier League season, Mino Raiola had insisted that Paul Pogba would be leaving Manchester United.
The France international was linked with a move to Real Madrid and also return to Juventus with Pogba himself admitting that he would love to play under Zinedine Zidane. But despite all the speculation surrounding his future at Manchester United, the Red Devils refused to sell him during the summer.
According to L’Equipe, Old Trafford executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward has contacted agent Raiola to discuss a new deal for the World Cup winner. This comes after former Arsenal star Alexis Sanchez was loaned to Inter Milan and also the sale of striker Romelu Lukaku to the Italian club.
Manchester United are currently struggling this season in the Premier League as they have gone three games without a win with their only victory against Chelsea this term.
United players believe it would be best for Pogba to go so as to avoid continued distractions caused by his unhappiness.
