Primate Ayodele- Nobody can take over his church
The founder of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Oke-Afa, Ejigbo Lagos, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has spoken against the new Company and Allied Matters Act (CAMA) that seeks to appoint trustees over religious organisations.
In his interview with newsmen, the clergyman said that nobody can appoint anybody over the church he invested his blood, sweat, and money on. Primate Ayodele said that even if it is possible with the so-called other rich churches, it cannot happen with his.
He added that the person that would make such a move on his church has never been born as he pounded on his chest as a mark of confidence in what he said. The man of God said that a prophecy had earlier gone out in the year that said that the government would want to test the church as he added that the new CAMA is a joke and dead on arrival.
Ayodele said he respects Bishop David Oyedepo of Winners Chapel for always being an outspoken man of God, referring to how he openly kicked against the new rule. He stated that if what the government plans to do perchance happens, there will be holy protests, adding that heavenly bombs that could deafen will fall on anybody who tries it.
“I am not a politician o, there is a way to invoke holy protests on such government. They will collapse. Let them no try it… Government is trying impossibility and they are trying to test God…. it’s just possible. Nobody can come and take over my church”
