The management officials of Team Nigeria (UK) International, led by ace sports administrator and pundit Mr. David Doherty announces the fastest Nigerian sprinter in United Kingdom, managed by The Temple Management Company as their ambassador.

At the 2016 Nigerian championships Ogunlewe successfully defended his national title, as he won the 100m in a personal best of 10.12s ahead of Divine Oduduru and Ogho-Oghene Egwero and thereby qualified for the Rio Olympic Games, which was held in Brazil.

Ogunlewe’s duties as a Team Nigeria UK ambassador will be in the area of giving assistance and wise counsel to the team, when consulted. As the Nigerian community in United Kingdom, is the largest outside of the home country, filled with talented and enterprising young Nigerian athletes in various sporting activities.

To help endorse the team’s promotional drives in print, on air, or online, through periodic participation in photoshoots, voice or video recordings or reposts of social media activities, where possible.

Seye Ogunlewe has however accepted the role and looks forward to work with the team in maintaining and establishing the growth and development of Nigerian sport. “I am honoured by this role and look forward to working with Team Nigeria UK, with their vision of giving back to the Nigerian community, through various campaigns as well community engagement”.
