Snoop Dogg loses 10 day old grandson
Snoop Dogg has posted a heartbreaking message after the death of his 10-day-old grandson Kai Love.
The rap legend’s oldest son, Corde Broadus revealed his son Kai had passed away in a tragic social media post.
The 47-year-old took to his own social media to speak for the first time since his baby grandson’s death on September 25.
Sharing a video of a text conversation, Snoop revealed he had turned to his faith in his family’s time of need.
The clip said: “If you’re facing something you don’t understand choose to trust God.
“Remember all He has done for you.
“His ways are higher than ours. He is always good.”
Snoop simply captioned the post with rose and prayer emojis.
Earlier in the week, Corde, 25, posted a video of his young daughter kissing Kai as someone else was seen cradling the baby.
Kai Love, who was born on September 15, was in a specialist neonatal intensive care unit when he died, according to TMZ.
Corde wrote on Instagram: “My Son Kai brought so much love and positivity into this world.
“His energy will live on and these 10 days of love will always be special to us.
“Let’s all cherish life and those we love while we are here. Thank you.”
Snoop’s wife Shante later uploaded a tearful video of her singing the 1970s Dells hit ‘The Love We Had Stays On My Mind.’
Kai was Corde’s third child. He already has a son called Zion and a daughter called Eleven.
Meanwhile Snoop has three children with Shante including Corde, son Cordell, 22, and daughter Cori, 20.
He also has son Julian from a relationship with Laurie Holmond.
