The East African nation of Gabon, is going through an obvious difficult time at the moment in regards to its post election crisis.
The nation which is presently going through post election civil war due to the reelection of its President Ali Bongo, leading to major protest across the country, since the 31st of August, 2016, as had activities paralyzed in the regions of the African nation.
This civil unrest NaijaOnlineTV gathered, as left some dead, while some others have been terribly injured.
The Gabonese police we gathered have arrested about 800 persons allegedly involved in the post election violence.
Crisis erupt in the process of the recent Presidential election as the incumbent President, Ali Bongo, was declared winner against his main challenger, Jean Ping who is a top diplomat and former AU official.
Jean Ping declared himself winner, claiming the the election was rigged, as media reports revealed he was leading while the counting was going on earlier.
Several leading media houses have been destroyed, attacked and set ablaze, during the post election crisis affecting the French colonized nation, by men said to be loyal to the incumbent president.
The man said to be at the center of the crisis, Ali Bongo assumed office on the 16th of October, 2009 and is the son of Omar Bongo, who was President of Gabon, from 1967 till his death in 2009.
Ali Bongo served under his father as Minister of Foreign Affairs from 1989-1991 and represented Bongoville as a Deputy in the National Assembly from 1991-1999. He later became Minister of Defense from 1999-2009.
Ali Bongo eventually became the candidate of the Gabonese Democratic Party (PDG) in the August 2009 Presidential election, following his father’s death.
According to official details, he won the 2009 Presidential election with 42% of the vote.

This is a wake up call to all leaders of the black people across Africa to wade into this recurring crisis among black nations and not just Gabon alone.
