The entire residence of Unity Avenue & Environs appeal to Ogun State Government led by Senator Ibikunle Amosun FCA, IFO local government newly elected council chairman Hon Hakeem Bello and IFO Central LCDA elected council chairman Hon Bayo Yusuf Ekun to come to our aide.

It is becoming unbearable to the residence of this community who are tax payers, compliance thus, contributing immensely to the internally generated revenue (IGR) and law abiding to the state government’s edit and local government’s bye laws respectively for the threat pose on them for every little downpour which always lead to heavy flood taking over the Community.

For time immemorial, this community does not experience this menace until the water diversion along Ope Ilu, Ijoko Road by the state government due to the road expansion and bridge construction taking place from Sango Ijoko road down to Ojodu.

The flood diversion resulted to heavy water flowing downwards, which Unity Avenue Community is the receiving ends. Sequel to this, the community in her “Self Help, Surest Help” campaign, had embarked on different palliative measures such as drainage clean up, gutter fencing amongst others but still could not stand the heavy water coming to the community.

This community has overwhelming supporters and advocates of the “Change” mantra chanted by the ruling party in the state cum great lovers of Mr Governor which has always resulted into regular victory for the party at the poll despite the challenges and woes bedeviling the state which could not make so many promises come to reality in this area, however still remained hopeful and resolute to the mission to rebuild Ogun standard by his Excellency. To whom much is giving, much is expected.

The little rainfall today Wednesday 26th of October, 2016 started around 4pm, what an eye saw, as an eye witness, the flood almost take away school children whom were on there way home as the rain met them on their way.

Any sign of rain or cloud changes as always put the people in great fear and dismay due to unimaginable havoc it may cause.

Unity Avenue is situated behind AC primary school, Agbado before Owonikoko street, is at the border of Ogun State and Lagos State. Agbado junction, owolanwa bus stop off Alakuko road.

The community is ever willing and ready to make partly contributions in all that will be required In putting smiles and succour to the people in whatever ways, financially, morally and technically to support the government in liberating the community.
